Blackhairplanet.com is a website for displaying hair salons, hair styles, and even ethnic hair care products. We have a forum for discussing of many topics on hair care, rating pictures gallery, and even rating products.
We also like to rate hairstylist across the USA and the world. We also promote new products that are small start-up companies.
Tell us about the development of your business and website. Where the idea came from, how long did it take and so on?
The idea for this business came when looking for a product for my child's hair. It was also a lingering thought in my head to find a product with natural elements in it, so as not to damage her hair.
I then found a product that was perfect for her. I began to market products like these online. With much success I put together a site for ethic products and salons.
This business took about a year to really start to make a profit. You really need to have patients in this business it can be crazy at times.
What are the most rewarding aspects about your business / website and do you think it was worth the effort?
The most rewarding aspects of my business are that I meet interesting people all the time. I help market small start-up businesses; I am able to help them find buyers, and salons for their products. These business is great and worth the effort and time.
Where would you like your business to be in five or ten year’s time?
I would like to start my own product one day. I am hoping that my five year track plan will actually to do that. Hopefully my business will help me to retire in five years or ten years time. With hard work, effort, and time I think my business will take off and it will be one of the top ethic sites online.
